Radhika- A powerful Girl
It wasn't going to be easy she knew but somehow she had to confront him. She took a deep breath and walked into the room. Radhika was 18 years old girl and her father wanted that she should marry. She was studying in 12th standard. She was excellent in study and wanted to pursue her study and become a doctor. Her father was against her dream. He was thinking about what she would achieve by studying. She had to go to another people's house. There would be a waste of money by teaching her. If he would consume that money, on his son, he would be benefited and his son would support him in his old age.
Radhika went into the room and sit in front of her father. She requested her father that she did not want to marry then. She wanted to pursue her study. Her father told her that he did not ask her advice. He had given his order. She, again and again, requested her father to change his discussion. But her father did not hear a single request.
Then she told her father that he did not have to pay a single cash for her education. She would earn money and continue her study. She would do hard work. She would work as a tuition teacher and earn money. Her father told her to do what she wanted, he was not going to give a single amount of cash.
From that day Radhika started working hard. She continued her study. She got an MBBS degree, and she became a doctor. Everybody was surprised by that incident. She became a role model for many girl children.
The time passed and her parents had become old. That time there was no one to take care of them. Their sons had also departed from them. Radhika was not able to see the bad condition of her parents. She started taking care of her parents. Her father had realized his mistake. He many time told sorry to her but Radhika used to tell him not to tell sorry.
In our society, both boys and girls should get equal rights for education and livelihood.
