Write an original short story entitled 'The Secret'.

The Secret

Once upon a time. There were two friends, named Shan and Moran. They had been best friends since their childhood. Both of them were neighbours. They could do anything for each other. They were from a middle-class family. They study in the same school Shan was good at study but Moran was an average. Both of them were going to their school by bicycle. The school was five kilometers away from their house. They traveled that much distance by talking to each other. They were not able to recognize the distance. They traveled and reached their school.

In the school, there were many students who wanted to break their friendship but they were not able to do it. They used to tell Shan that Moran would not help in the need and they used to tell Moran that Shan would not help in the need. All the teachers suggested Shan if he would live with Moran there would be the harm in his study and he would also become average like him.

The time passed and their friendship bonding became stronger. When they were in class-9. The school was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to which they were not able to go to school and not able to meet with each other. Sometimes they used to talk with each other through phone calls. Shan's father lost his job due to lockdown because he was doing a private job. The financial condition of Shan went down. He never talks to Moran about it.

After a year the school was opened, and the school asked for the fee from the students. The school put the condition that if any student did not pay the fee their name would remove from the school. Shan became sad because he could not continue his study and told everything to Moran. Moran also became tensed.

He decided that he would help the Shan. So, he sold his bicycle and paid the fee of Shan. Shan was shocked when he saw that his fee was paid. When he inquired, he found that Moran had paid his fee. He asked Moran how he had paid his fee. Moran smiled and replied, "It is secret."
