Addiction

Today addiction is one of the biggest problems of all people.  Due to it, almost all the people are suffering. Addiction is of two types, One is good addiction while another one is bad addiction. Examples of good addiction are:- Reading books, learning new things, improving ourselves, and helping others. Examples of bad addiction are:- Using mobile phones unnecessarily, drinking, smoking, watching television, etc. Here, I am going to talk about bad addiction.



Its effects can be seen in our society or you can simply see in your house or you can observe yourself. Most of us are addicted to mobile phones. We want to see a mobile phone when we wake up and we are not able to sleep unless we see a mobile phone at night. Today parents can also not stop their children from watching the mobile phone. Because they are addicted to mobile phones. They feel shame when they tell their children not to watch mobile because they are watching it all the time and if they are telling them, they are not listening to them because children learn what they see.


I have also remembered when I was a child and I was and I was not knowing how to read and write. When I was seeing my parents reading the newspaper and writing something. I used to go nearer to them and asked what they were reading and I  was very curious to learn reading. But it is not happening nowadays. Today a child of five to six years old can't even speak and walk properly. It is not the mistakes of that child, it is the mistake of their parents.


Today most of us are not living in the real world. We live in the virtual world which is inside the mobile phone. Internet device is not only connected to local tower nearer to us. It is connected to our brain. whenever we go nearer to it, it gives a signal to our brain and we are connected to it. We are also not aware of how long we connected to it and all our time is wasted.


Smoking and drinking alcohol have become common for most students. It has become part of their life. They know it is wrong but they couldn't leave it because they had become addict to it.


One day I asked one boy that I had shown him smoking and drinking. He answered that I was right. then I asked him what was the taste of alcohol and cigarette. Then he answered me that alcohol was very bitter and it had a bad taste when he had drunk it for the first time, he coughed a lot. But now he fell kick from it. It had become part of 

his life.


It is not only the problem of that boy. It is happening with most of us. The things to which we are addicted today. One day we were against it. But we had thought it was not going to do lots of harm to us, we had a lot of self-control, we could overcome it and it had become part of our life and we were addicted to it.


Bad addicting things are designed in such a way that once we would try them. We will addict to it. For example:- In mobile phone when we are going to watch one video, it will show many videos related to it and which we like. And our all the time is wast.


Very powerful steps should be taken against bad addicting things. There should be strong laws for these software companies. So that they could not waste the time of any person.


A very easy and beneficial way to leave bad addiction things is to build a good habit. Habit is not built easily but we can build it after some time.
